²³ And someone said to him, “Lord, are there only^[a] a few who are saved?” And he said to them, ²⁴ “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able to, ²⁵ when once the master of the house has gotten up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open the door^[b] for us!’ And he will answer and^[c] say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from!’
